March – Change their Luck

Goal:

To visit 12 businesses, community organizations or schools and promote the work of the Simcoe and District Humane Society

Challenge:

To be invited to speak and present the SDHS to 12 Businesses, organizations or schools and provide information on the work of the SDHS in Norfolk County

Since January 1, 2012

• 70 pets have found their forever homes
• 2 dogs and 2 cats have been reunited with their families
• We have rescued and helped 40 cats
• We have gained 3 monthly donors
• We have gained 8 new volunteers and 1 co-op student
• We have visited 1 organization to speak on the work of SDHS
• We have initiated 3 new programs and fundraising events
