As we enter the holiday season, Simcoe and District Humane Society volunteers are working everyday to help the animals and getting ready for some great events.
We invite you to participate!
It is so easy to help the animals ... bring fluffy and fido to our Norfolk Community Animal Fair and have their photos taken with Santa Claws or enjoy a full turkey dinner at our Paws for Christmas Dinner event. Don't forget your gifts for your furry friend or furry friend lover at our Christmas Craft and Bake Sales coming up.
If you can't attend an event, a click of the mouse can help you donate or send your vote to help us build our shelter!
Maybe this is the time to add a furry friend to the family and give a pet their forever "home 4 the holidays" ... we can help!

SDHS is not funded by any level of government and does not get paid to do their work in Norfolk County. Volunteers rely on donations and fundraising events throughout the year to help the animals in need.
Big or small, your donation does matter to the animals ... and we need your help to continue doing our work with the animals.

A monthly donation of $10/month can vaccinate 15 animals.
A monthly donation of $20/month vaccinate and spay a cat or dog.
A monthly donation of $50/month vaccinate 75+ animals.

Thank you to everyone who supported and voted for Simcoe and District Humane Society's idea and thank you to the Aviva Community Fund and our supporting brokers for giving us the opportunity to try winning the money to build a facility to help the animals in Norfolk County.
The dream is still alive and through special upcoming building fund fundraisiers and donation drives, we will be dedicating time and talents to make the shelter a reality in the future.
