November 2016 Newsletter Simcoe and District Humane Society
We need your help to continue to help those less fortunate animals! Please join us at our next event, sponsor a bulb on the Annual Tree of life, or join us for a volunteer training session.
2016 has seen close to 1000 animals come through the doors of SDHS. Many injured, sick or worse. Every year, these numbers grow.
These animals have been helped by the volunteers who give many hours of their time ... day or night to pick up, feed, clean, medicate, drive to veterinarians, tend to after surgeries and more!
We have held microchip clinics and have helped low income families or owners of properties where barn cats or ferals are prevalent get to spay/neuter clinics.
Volunteers have done a lot of work while keeping records of each animal during their stay and after adoption.
We can't do this alone ... It does take a community to help the animals and we need your help!
Our Giving Tuesday Open House was a great day to visit volunteers, show your support, make a donation, or pick up your volunteer application!
Thank you to everyone who visited, renewed membershps (and friendships) and checked out animals ready for adoption!
